"Chicagoian"

Ana was telling China today that she speaks, "Malaysian, English, Singaporean, and Chicagoian." After a while thinking China said, "Chicago speak English." Ana said, "Of course!! And I speak English!" Everybody's happy!

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

So we let our kids watch this movie the other day. I had recently finished reading the book with Ana. She was quite interested in it--even in discussing some of the deeper truths in it. So, we thought why not. For the next several days they were building swords with their connex blocks and killing off evil creatures all over the apartment. Ana decided her hood made a good "helmet" and she is showing off one of her knives. (They got much bigger over the next couple of days.) Life is always interesting around here!

India 2012

Sorry this is so long in coming! Things have been really hectic around here with post placement visits, spring break (but Matt still working 2 days), and LIFE! Thanks for your patience! I'll try to get more pictures from the high schoolers next week.
