On Saturday I had the privilege of serving with Indianapolis' police force as they hosted a breakfast and meet and greet with Santa. We had around 400 people (many of whom walked in on a very chilly morning!) All the officers went out of their way to make people feel welcome. I love how Shepherd successfully partners with other organizations to bring as many positive experiences to our families as possible.
This officer and his very patient horse stood outside in below freezing temperatures for over an hour to let city kids have an up close and personal experience with a horse. The officer in charge stayed and mopped the floor himself. Well done IMPD!
